The vulnerability knowledge base is the list of advisories StorageGuard checks your systems against. Browse it to see what's covered for a platform, to confirm a new advisory has arrived, and to deactivate checks for advisories that don't apply to your environment.

Browse the knowledge base
Go to Vulnerabilities > Knowledge base. Filter by system type, severity or publication date, or search for an advisory or CVE identifier, to find what you're looking for.
Deactivate or activate a check
Deactivating a check stops it from running in the next risk analysis, so it raises no findings. Use it for advisories that can't apply to you, for example a feature you don't license. For an advisory that applies to some systems only, suppress the finding on those systems instead and keep the check active.
- Right-click the check and select Deactivate.
- To turn it back on, right-click it and select Activate.
Deactivating and activating checks needs the appropriate permissions.
Keep it current
Vendors publish advisories continuously. A knowledge base that's months old reports a clean environment that isn't. Enable automatic knowledge base updates, or apply updates manually when they're released, and check Latest KB Update on the Health Check dashboard.
