These examples show how to use the AI Assistant for everyday work. Each one is a short conversation: start with the first prompt, then follow up. Replace system and site names with your own.

Plan remediation

Find what to fix first, and how.

1. Show the top 3 open security findings, or narrow it: Show critical findings on backup systems.
2. Which of these are easiest to fix? separates quick wins from changes that need planning.
3. Explain how to fix this risk on a finding returns the remediation steps and commands.
4. Which other systems have the same finding? shows how far a fix needs to go.
5. Export the answer as HTML and attach it to your change request.

Onboard a storage or backup system

1. How do I onboard an ONTAP cluster? lists the account, permissions and network access needed. Use your platform name.
2. Which data source types are available for backup systems? confirms StorageGuard supports your platform.
3. After you add the system and run an analysis task: Show missing permissions / credentials issues.
4. If the analysis task failed: Explain why the scan failed on <system>.

Ask about configurations

Compare settings across systems without opening each one.

• Summarize NTP server configuration across systems
• Which storage systems don't encrypt data at rest?
• Summarize deployed Storage OS versions, then Which of these versions have open critical vulnerabilities?
• Show me how the baseline findings on <system> changed over the last 3 months

Prepare for an audit

1. Is <system> compliant with CIS Control v8?
2. Generate a compliance summary for <system>
3. Show the failing checks with their security labels
4. Export the answers as HTML for your evidence folder.
