Preparation for Scanning Dell XtremIO
StorageGuard collects configuration data from XtremIO storage systems by running read-only REST API calls through HTTP/HTTPS on the XtremIO Management servers (XMS).
The following table lists the requirements for scanning XtremIO storage systems:

| 1 | Provide the name or IP address of each XMS. |
| 2 | Provide a user account (and password) for each XMS. |
| 3 | The user should be assigned with unlimited read-only rights, enabling it to query all XMS configuration objects through Rest API V2/3. |
| 4 | Verify IP connectivity through HTTP/HTTPS (443) is available between the StorageGuard server and each XMS. |
Creating a User Account for Scanning Dell XtremIO
The following suggested method can be used to create a user account with appropriate privileges:
add-user-account usr-name=cntuser role=<'read_only', 'admin','configuration', 'technician'> password=<password>
