Steps to Install the StorageGuard
1 Run the Core6Platform_X.Y.exe as a local administrator.
2 Select Yes, install AdoptOpenJDK. When you select this option, a wizard opens to guide you through the installation process. Alternatively you may choose a currently installed JRE.
3 Select Yes, install Tomcat. When you select this option, a wizard opens to guide you through the Apache Tomcat installation process.
4 Select whether to use a HTTPS self-signed certificate or a custom certificate.
5 Select I accept the agreement and click Next (twice).
6 Edit location of tnsnames.ora and service name to be used by StorageGuard.
7 Specify the database schema name and password and click Next.
8 Select Yes, create the required schema on this computer.
9 Enter the (sysdba) username and password for the StorageGuard database administrator and click Next.
10 Specify the password for the user and admin StorageGuard users and click Next.
11 Specify where to store the Core6 program shortcuts by clicking Browse and navigating to the required folder. Click Next.
11 Select to Start Apache Tomcat check box. Click Next.
12 Review installation settings and click Next.
13 Click Finish.
You're done!
Now you can go straight ahead and login to the StorageGuard application to configure the scan and data analysis.
Logging in
To login to the StorageGuard application, open the following URL in your web browser:
